● Fall 2019- My first position as an NMSU-A work study had me employed under Richard Hernandez in the Automotive Department. I was responsible for the maintenance of our shop's tool room, this meant checking in and out tools, keeping the area clean and organized while ensuring the tools were in usable condition for our automotive students.
● Spring 2020- My second work study position was under the leadership of Jim Busalacchi and Bill Osborn of the Welding Technology Department. Cutting material, exchanging gas cylinders, changing out wire in machine as needed, general shop upkeep and being able to help mentor the students if they needed some extra assistance Medlin Ramps Central, Alamogordo- Lead Cutter
January 2021 - Current
● Hired in as a cutter and stand-in welder if the shop is short handed.
● This position has given me the aforementioned skills of supply and equipment management, inventory and time management while working a fast paced job. While working here, I was also trained extensively on forklift operation using our three Hysters and a Toyota forklift.

I started my college career as a A.S-Renewable Energy major, however due to classes being cut I had switched to Advanced Welding Tech during the Spring 2020 semester.

In the Fall 2021 semester after completing my pre-requisites at NMSU-A, I transferred to NMSU/DACC in Las Cruces, NM to complete my A.S degree before continuing on to my Bachelor's degree. Currently, I am set to have my Advanced Welding Tech degree and certifications in the next six months to a year.
