With strong experience in manufacturing, construction (project management), engineering and distribution, I am currently looking for a local Houston firm seeking an aggressive CFO and or financial controller. I have been glad to help several companies grow through persistent cost analysis, ongoing subordinate training and daily procedural evaluation and improvement. Multi-Industry Experience: I have broad manufacturing experience in oilfield services, automotive parts, and oil field tool and equipment. I worked in construction for high-rise beachfront condos and large heavy industrial tank farms and ten years in hazardous waste (treatment, remediation, and analysis). I initially moved to Houston to financially monitor an engineering firm with over 200 engineers that my company acquired (waste remediation at chemical plants).

Proven Growth Record: My previous machine shop grew from $16M to $103M (8 Yrs.). My pipe fittings firm grew from $7M to $36M (5 Yrs.). My hazardous waste firm grew from $17M to $300M (10 Yrs.). Fortunately, my experience gained while working around these types of successful individuals was key to strengthening my own abilities.

Banking Relationships/Funding: I have worked with 30+ banks covering asset-based loans, various borrowing bases (LOC, bridge loans and factoring) and all types of building and equipment financing. I have secured over 120 loans for new equipment over the past fifteen years with previous employers here in Houston.

Audits (CPA and Bank): I have worked through all required external CPA audits and mandatory bank audits with few or no problems.

Motivation/Drive: I am motivated and interested in constant improvement. My daughter encouraged me to begin to write down all of the methods I learned to cut costs, improve profit margins, widen customer markets including various other business ideas I was taught or fortunate to observe while working for fifteen companies in seven industries across seven states in the U.S. and two years in Canada.
