Seal & bearing replacement, along with pump and motor replacement & alignment once replaced using a laser (easy laser), valve removal and installation of new valves, demo and fabrication of new tank used to melt down and recycle LEAD, install U-Tubes, Steel plate 1 1/2" thick along with new I Beams. Used torch to cut out old I beams and existing steel plate. Measurements taken and laid out on new plate and beams then fabricated with torch/Metabo a precision fit. I then used fork lift to bring plates and beams around to the carry deck. I gathered up all the rigging i would need to fly up plates and beams. (Chain falls, chains, nylon chokers, endless chokers along with 3/4 & 7/8's shackles) Flew beams in first then I tack welded them down once in place i then rigged up to the new steel plates and flew into place once set I then tacked plates down with a mig welder. Loaded up all the removed sections of plates and beams onto the forklift and brought out set on pallet to be disposed of in proper bins Millwright

Alignments of stands in cooling bed (which is where the finished product aka reber goes theou rakes and then down to the stands that shake and bundle up the bars then send down to shipping area). Used a box level to align the stands. (Box level has a 98 level in it) Also done alignments of the ecs the stands the frames sit on then set and align the pan that sets on top of the frame and stands. (The ecs is the start of the mill where a overhead crane picks up scrap metals then sends them down to the furnace). Also used cutting devices like torch grinder metabolic to fabricate parts and equipment that would not fit. Millwright

Maintenance work on a sugar beet mill. Replaced knife gate valves, demolition of old rusted sections of shouts then fabricated new sections then tack welds were placed then seal welded them. Rebuilding the number four out of five pulp press. Replaced the structural steel that supports the screens that recover additional sugar from pulp. A small group of us which consisted of 4 journeymen were given the task of rebuilding the main gearbox on the diffuser, which extracts sugar out of the beets. Then the 4 of us installed new dischargers for the white centrifugals. Went through all of the equipment and checks bearings and seals. Replaced of the upper half of the steel shell on the number three evaporator, fabricated a plate out of new stainless steel for the upper inside portion of the number three evaporator, fabricate a plate for the upper inside portion of the number three evaporator also these tubes are an inch and a quarter in diameter and nine to 10 feet long and there are a ton of these tubes. Install, assemble, dismantle, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery to specifications. I'd use precision tools and processes to ensure that the machinery is installed or repaired and working correctly. Troubleshooting equipment to determine the cause of damage or malfunction is critical to the proper repair of mechanical equipment and is an essential capability for this position. I will work with industrial machinery and equipment including but not limited to: pumps, compressors, conveyor belts, motors, small engines, rotating equipment and small generators. Plan, inspect, verify and document scope of work.
Fit bearings, align gears and wheels, attach motors and connect belts according to manufacturer’s blueprints and drawings.
Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools Operate engine lathes, grinders, and files.
Fabricate and install parts, equipment and machinery by measuring, cutting, drilling and/or welding. Turns machine parts to dimensional specifications. Unload, inspect, move and set equipment into position using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks. I'd use rigging and hoisting devices such as chokers, chain falls and come along to move equipment / materials into place

I've worked with industry-specific and high complex precision machines including, ball mills, ID fans, lube coil skids, turbines, conveyors, generators, hydraulic systems, pumps, gears, bearings & compressors. Before each day begins I plan, inspect, verify and document scope of my work. I use precision leveling and alignment tools in order to measure angles, material thickness and small distances with calipers, squares, micrometers, optical instruments and other tools. I also fit bearings, align gears and wheels, attach motors and connect belts according to manufacturer’s blueprints and drawings.
I dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools and power tools. I assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails. I will assemble machines and bolts, welds, rivets and fasten machinery to foundations and or other structures using hand tools and power tools.
When necessary i will fabricate and installs parts, equipment, and machinery by measuring, cutting, drilling and/or welding.
Turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
I would unload, inspect, move and set equipment into position using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks. I use rigging and hoisting devices such as chokers, chain falls and come alongs to move equipment/ materials into place.
