PANIMALAR ENGINEERING COLLEGE, CHENNAI
Creating a magnetic drilling machine which produce holes without the help of fixtures (January 2020 – March 2020)
This machine uses electromagnet as a fixture and a standard drill machine so that this machine can be used to drill effortless holes effortlessly in a large manufacturing unit in order to save time.
This makes the operator independent and keeps his work table less clustered since the machine is powered by a small battery. Power wires are less used for the operation of the machine hence providing more room to work.
Experimental study on solar still employing glass and acrylic sheet as cover materials (January 2021 – June 2021)
This experimental study on solar still performance was studied using various materials as cover materials such as glass and acrylic. These cover materials are used on conventional solar still. The outputs compared with the values without the cover materials. We are attempting to study the current condition of various designs and also the performance of solar still enhanced by improving the efficiency and productivity of the solar still.
