Manage schedule for orthodontic office with 4 different locations. Schedule patients, answer telephones, take payments, data entry, print forms, open and close offices, greet patients, and work closely with back office staff. Responsible for creating and meeting monthly scheduling goals. Assist Quality Coordinator on updating systems and processes at the remote offices. Verify dental insurance benefits for all patients who haven’t been to the office in 6 months or more. May 2014 – January 2016: Call center. Speak with Dr.’s office representatives to obtain clinical information to process prescription prior authorizations. Give Plan Benefit Override information to Dr.’s offices and Customer Care Representatives. Input overrides, drug information, and diagnosis codes.
Give plan benefit information for members; including running test claims, advising on deductibles, copays, and rejections. Place mail order refills, process payments of balances, issue reshipments. Speak to medical professionals including, pharmacists and doctor’s office representatives.
