LOW FREQUENCY VIBRATION HARVESTING

2021 BE Project

Concept:

Mechanical Vibration is great source of energy harvesting. Currently in India there are more than 26 Million Vehicles including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and two wheelers. India will be a very big market for de Vehicles. So, improvement is possible with better efficiency and reliability. We can save 10-14 % fuel by recharging vehicles batteries. We can make more robust and regular unidirectional rotational design. Energy harvesting through mechanical vibration have emerged as an important research area and continues to grow at rapid pace.

Concept

The Industrial Revolution was the transition to new manufacturing processes. This transition included going from hand production methods to machines, new chemical manufacturing and iron production processes, improved efficiency of water power, the increasing use of steam power, the development of machine tools and the rise of the factory system. It also included the change from wood and other bio-fuels to coal. Resume
