I work taking calls from customers verifying orders for products ordered, verify customer customer credit card payments which may or may not have processed. I update credit card information to get orders processed and verify billing and shipping information.

Customers also contact my department for information on description of product, warranty information, availability, replacements of items not received etc. In capacity of supervisor I am responsible for taking calls from customer who may have issues with their orders. This may include getting credit card authorization, redirecting undeliverable orders, replacing damaged goods, getting dates on back orders etc. and resolving issues to customers satisfaction. It is also required as supervisor to handle bilingual calls to assist customer who otherwise have a difficult time communicating in English. I also have to record transactions in spreadsheet for billing and sorting purposes.

I work as a consultant to advise customers of rates currently available from Ambit and secure accounts by setting the client up to receive services. I verify all pertinent information to initiate the service delivery including but not limited to security information on the account.

2003 - 2011

Trained in the fraud department to detect unauthorized use of client’s account. I developed the ability to distinguish between the cardholder and fraudulent user through security information available to advisors. I had the authority to suspend account usage to protect accounts for the bank and the clients. If activity was fraudulent, I had the authority to terminate accounts and remove activity that did not belong to the cardholder.

I worked in the customer service credit card division for 3 years assisting clients with payments, balance transfers, expense identification, cancelling and issuing new cards when necessary.

I also worked in the treasury department. I worked with government accounts which were regulated by government agencies which encompassed 37 states in the US. In this position I was able to utilize my fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
