Ran extruding machines, was a mixer in the mix room mixing and weighing raw chemicals, operated a forklift on a daily basis. Loaded and unloaded trucks, moved chemicals around the plant, filled and packaged finished products. Did preventive maintenance to get max longevity out of the machines. Shipping samples to the lab technicians, worked in the laboratory testing samples to make sure finished products were ready to be shipped to the customers, replaced broken or worn out parts on the extruders and the silos, we also used the SAP system, filled out lock out tag out forms along with hot works permits, printed out labels for finished products.

Built heat treating furnaces for the big three, installed blower motors into the furnaces, installed nitrogen lines, installed ammonia lines, installed natural gas lines, cutting pipe, pipe fitter, assembly of heat treating furnaces. I was the lead painter I used airless spray equipment, Operated a forklift everyday the forklift ranged from your standard size to your industrial size Bristol forklift, drove as a company driver to pick up materials for our builds. Operated 25 ton crane daily. Part of the 5 man crew that would travel around the united states to do maintenance on the heat treating furnaces we assembled. Grinding, cutting steel plates, used a wide variety of air tools, power tools, hand tools. We installed hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems on certain projects, worked in shipping and receiving, filled out the correct paperwork for the loads of steel being brought in weekly. Spraying paint using airless paint machines at various locations throughout Michigan. Industrial and commercial properties. Operated a forklift in the warehouse. I was the company driver which consisted of picking up new supplies and a wide variety of paint products. We used harmful chemicals to take off old epoxies so we could put a new fresh coat on. I used lifts and a harness system when spraying over 6 feet in the air, sometimes we would go as high up as 100 feet in the air to paint. We sprayed and rolled certain jobs according to the customer. We painted at Comerica park, Ford field, and the Detroit lions practice complex. Used a variety of paints and epoxies. Also I stained wood for certain projects. I hung drywall at various locations, sanding down walls. Hung wallpaper at some private residences. On occasion we would spray and roll and do all the necessary steps to make sure that we left a good impression with our painting skills. We cleaned our equipment and rollers and brushes on a daily basis to ensure the longevity of our paint applicators. We took old paint to a mixing company drop off old and used paint. Occasionally we did family residence.
