Check on outstanding arrivals in the system. Charge no-shows or release rooms if necessary with proper documented explanations Report on Late cancellation along with the reasons. Report on late check out.

Check rate variance report against rates schedules( contracts) and obtain reasons for variances.( to take up the same with RDM and SM)

Check reasons to postings to lost interface and check that they have been re-posted to the correct room subsequently

Check all discounts given to room charges and obtain authentication on approval at the right level.

Check housekeepers discrepancy report for the shift (day or Night

Check all bills transferred to PM rooms and query length of stay in the system, reason for them being outstanding, mode of transfer/approval to PM. All PM opened must be authorized.

Check all guest in house by complimentary and house use for proper written approval

Ensure all credit cards are posted in Opera before cut off

Check all restaurant sales summaries for the day .Ensure they are properly prepared and signed by relevant personnel.

Check pre-billings, deposits received and deposits applied reports and ensure correct tagging.

Physically check and confirm that all the bills for every outlet are used serially. The bills control books to be submitted daily by the last person in the shift, and collected from the income audit office every morning. Any missing bill should be reported to income audit for further follow up. All the outlets cashier summaries must be countersigned by the Night auditor upon verification
