Participated in a census conducted by Mudumalai Tiger Reserve for the Estimation of Herbivores in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve Tamilnadu in the year 2015.

Participated in a National census programme for the Estimation of Carnivores in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve Tamilnadu in the year 2016.

Participated as a Volunteer in Periyar Tiger Reserve, Kerala for the celebrations of Wildlife Week during October 2- October 8 of the year 2016.

Actively participated in the fixing and data recovery of Camera Traps in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, Tamilnadu during 2017-2018 for the indirect survey of major predators and preys.

TRAINING UNDERGONE

Undergone a six month training programme in Molecular Biodiversity Research Lab, Department of Zoology, Government Arts College, Udhagamandalam for the scat analysis and basic molecular techniques for the identification of major carnivores.

EXPERIENCE IN WILDLIFE BIOLOGY

Actively participated in direct and indirect survey of major carnivores and its prey predator relationship in the Mudumalai Tiger reserve as a part of my

M. Sc dissertation for six months.

Worked together with rangers, forest guards and antipoaching watchers of Mudumalai tiger reserve to develop my knowledge and field skills for my future career.

Supported the monitoring of wildlife studies, surveys, and activities to ensure program quality, effectiveness, and technical adequacy in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.

TECHNIQUES KNOWN

Skill to identify the birds and reptiles.

Skill in handling of snakes.

Skills to handle and fix camera traps and retrieval of data for analysis.

Skills to identify prey species from the scats of any carnivores and permanent mounting of hairs.

Skills to isolate DNA from scats, tissue and blood of forensic samples.

Knowledge and experience of windows 10 and basic computer programmes.

Skilled in handling of Q GIS software for geo referencing and mapping.
