Job Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain an effective program and ensure compliances to satisfy the statutory and legal requirements.
Preparing and updating manpower details of the area in charge Conducting regular emergency drills and reviews for improvements.
Identify Safety training needs, organize and coordinate safety training courses and prepare training material where appropriate.
Conducted daily toolbox talks and weekly safety meeting to discuss accident prevention, near miss, incidents etc.
Conduct safety walks in the site to ensure better safety in the worksite
Coordinate with construction managers to identify and resolve various safety issues.
Ensure that International standards and country law regarding safety is properly followed.
Conduct risk assessment in various activities undertaken in the organization.
Give inputs for preparing emergency safety procedures
Fire Prevention strategies are executed and Inductions are provided to the various level of organization.
Ensure regular inspection on worksite and the safety measures are properly monitored.
Identify unsafe actions, conditions and hazards, investigate root cause and identify corrective and preventive actions and report to the management.
Maintain healthiness of all personnel, PPE’s and safety equipment and their records.
Review and update emergency procedures as and when necessary.
