Responsible for the P&L, Safety and Operations for the Coated Recycled Board Mill (CRB).

NSSC Corporation - Jacksonville, FL (2011 to 2017)

General Manager

Renew Paper Company (presently Hood Container) – Louisiana (2008 to 2010)

Operations Manager

Converted 900 TPD Coated Freesheet mill that had been idle for 2 years to produce 650 TPD Lightweight Containerboard and Bag Paper.

Hired and trained 200 Salaried and Non-Union Employees.

Negotiated wood, chemical, contractor and sales broker contracts.

Obtained NPDES, Title V, Stormwater environmental permits required for startup of the mill.

Robbins Community Power – Robbins, IL (2007-2008)

Robbins Community Power was designed to be a 50 MW Biomass Independent Power Plant (IPP). Plant did not start up due to inability to negotiate a suitable PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) due to low natural gas pricing.

Durango Paper Company - St. Marys, GA (2002-2007)

Mill Manager

The Durango Mill produced 850 TPD of Coated Bleached Board, Bag and Brown Specialties with 530 salaried and unionized hourly employees.

Achievements:

Improved Net Profit 40% for the $150 million revenue plant.

Developed KPI’s and brought accountability to the responsible managers.

Identified true product margins to eliminate poor contributors.
