1- Airway management (ETT insertion, Needle and surgical Cricothyridotomy and Percutaneous Tracheostomy).
2- Chest tube insertion & management.
3- Central venous line insertion (Int.Jugular, Subclavian and Femoral) with both blind and Ultrasound guided techniques.
4- Arterial line insertion: (radial, brachial and femoral) with both blind and Ultrasound guided techniques.
5- Dialysis catheter insertion (femoral, Int.jugular, subclavian) with both blind and Ultrasound guided techniques.
6- FAST (Focused Assessment of Abdomen in Trauma). 7- Trans venous temporary Pacemaker insertion & management. 8- Ascetic and Pleural fluid tapping (regular & U\S guided) 9- Lumbar puncture.
All ICU management strategies & protocols are
mastered:
1- Ventilatory support (modes, setting) & weaning protocols. 2- Management of Coma patients (Traumatic, Toxicological or Medical etiology)
3- Interpretation of blood gases and acid-base balance. 4- Interpretation of Electrocardiogram (ECG) and management of all type of dysrhythmias and acute coronary syndrome (ACS). 5- Sepsis diagnosis & management.
6- Management of patients on continuous renal replacement therapy
(CRRT).
7- Management of All critically ill medical, surgical and trauma patients. 8- Hemodynamic monitoring and support.
9- All of sedative techniques have been mastered.
10- Special interest in management of critically Ill hepatic patients and CNS Infections patients.
