- Work with (hands on) all electrical personnel and provide necessary guidance assistance, help and demonstrations to ensure proper allocation, handling and utilization of all the resources.

-Work in conjunction with Unit Managers, Production Foremen and Supervisors and receive feedback to facilitate efficient and effective electrical maintenance operation of the department.

- Actively participate in the installation /erection, commissioning and any other project related to processing plant and equipment.

-Develop and coordinate a focused and effective electrical maintenance team as well as identifying periodic training on selected areas.

-Budgetary control, monitoring of electrical maintenance performance budget, coordinating ordering, determining lead-time, re-order levels and optimum inventory costs of electrical items, including evaluation of all electrical jobs/projects.

- Compiling monthly reports (Electrical/maintenance data presentation) on plant, energy meters, equipment and service/utilities to the Chief Engineer with copy to Plant Engineer.

- Identifying and formulating safe operating instructions (of plant and equipment) flow diagrams, block diagrams, appropriate schedules and programs of electrical events.

- Establish and coordinate the Plant and equipment output performance tracking database.

-Running and maintaining the PABX and the company Telephone system network and phones.
