PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

I have been a Public Safety Officer with the City of Berkley for 20 years. Public safety is the combined services of police, fire, and EMS. As a PSO officer I became certified as a Field Training Officer, and Range Instructor. I am the Range Master which has given me the overall responsibilities of supervising 6 Range Officers, the department arsenal, and making sure the department policies and procedures are up to date and followed by all department personnel. I spent 1 year as a Detective with the responsibilities of interviewing and interrogating suspects and witnesses along with running and supervising crime scenes. As a firefighter I earned my Fire Officer I, II, & III which certifies me to supervise and run fire scenes. I am Fire Investigator I&II certified with the responsibilities of determining origin and cause of fires in the City of Berkley. Currently working on my CPP certification through ASIS International.
