Motivation

I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Maryland through getting the prestigious and competitive fellowship titled “Maryland Sea Grant State Policy Fellowship.” I am working directly with Maryland’s Environmental Services (MES) to help mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and investigate ways to expand renewable energy capacity in the state. My interest in meteorology started during my undergraduate time while I studied Geology, I had a great interest in satellite image processing and evaluation. Since then my enthusiasm and skills have continued to grow and my interests have widened. I have been fortunate enough to gain extensive experience in the workings of sophisticated numerical models during my Ph.D. Current Position
