ANNA SEIDITA
PORT DRAY DISPATCH, ACCOUNT MANAGER, FTZ ADMINISTRATOR
Alhambra, CA 91803
***********@*****.***
I have worked in the transportation and logistics industry for quite some time, 45 years to be exact.
To go back only 10 years on my resume, it only reflect me as a port dispatcher, however, in addition to port dispatching I have experience in the following aspects in the transportation industry;
-export traffic/booking with s/s lines & NVOCC.
-import traffic for s/s lines & NVOCC.
-Warehousing & distribution
-Freight Forwarding
-FTZ administration
My experience started with the steamship lines, where I was fortunate to have received education and experience in both the import and export traffic departments, as well as in equipment control. I then ventured into the freight forwarding side of the business where I worked for a well known international freight forwarder, and then went into the freight distribution/trucking side of the industry where I was responsible for the warehouse delivery and freight distribution for import cargo.
I was most recently employed with an FTZ as the FTZ administrator. Unfortunately, we never really covered from the covid-19 work stoppage/slow down and was let go “due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic. US Customs no longer requires and FTZ administrator to be on site”. The position entailed; working closely with US Customs to ensure FTZ compliance, customer service, troubleshooting, appt. setting, et al., as well as account management. I am looking to be able to offer my areas of expertise to a company that offers stability and room for growth.
Taking my industry experience into consideration, I'm confident that I can efficiently and effectively perform the daily responsibilities required of this position. If selected for this position, I would bring a strong customer focus and effective leadership skills in combination with an "only the best will do" work ethic. I take pride in working hard and enjoy challenges and demands. I pride myself on being able to work in a fast paced environment and having the capability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Should you feel that my background qualifies me as a potential candidate for interview, please contact me at your
convenience.
Sincerely,
Anna Seidita
I am authorized to work in the US for any employer
