a.3. Installation of SOLAR Power Systems in KOC Fields and Township

Replaced power supply for all street-lights in Ahmadi town to Solar systems as a move to preserve states power. Received “KPC CEO Achievement award”.

Installation of Solar Power Systems for Chemical Injection Pumps, Cathodic Protection of U/G cross country Pipelines and Well Heads E-SCADA in all KOC assets. All the installations been done in remote locations and monitored thru Radio communication.

a.4. Facilities Expansion Project - KOC Gathering Center (GC27)

EPC&C contractor: (M/S SNC Lavalin, UK). Project Cost: US$ 200M

Reviewed detailed engineering documents (Electrical & Instrumentation) and supervised construction, testing & commissioning of new plants.

a.5. Construction of New Oil Gathering Center (GC-25 -KOC):

EPC contractor: M/s DAELIM, SK. Project Cost: US$ 900M

Supervised construction of super Gathering Centre (250MBOPD) from end to end.

a.6. Construction of Water Injection Plant (CIPF-KOC):

EPC&C contractor: M/S Snamprogetti, Italy

Supervised all construction activities till commissioning.

a.7. Modernization of 11 Nos KOC Oil & Gas Production facilities:

As an active member of FMP-committee, conducted techno-economic studies, selection of plants / equipment / systems and prepared tender packages for modernization of 11Nos. of KOC Oil Gathering facilities. Supervised Construction activities till completion.

b.1. Oil & Gas Production Facilities Maintenance (Worked in all KOC Asset areas. i.e. EK, SK, WK, NK, & Burgan Power Station).

Equipment included; GT driven Generators, Electric motors (up to 4500KW), Substations / MCCs (HV/MV & LV), Transformers, VSDs, UPS systems, ESPs, Standby Generators, Solar Power Systems, and E- SCADA etc.

Predictive & Preventive Maintenance activities: Planning, Coordination, Resource & Material management and effective execution of PM activities for all types of Electrical & Control equipment/plants/Systems. Application of MMMS software.

Corrective Maintenance Activities: Hands-on Involvement in diagnosing / trouble-shooting and rectification of electrical equipment / plants & control system faults. Developed systematic fault diagnostic procedures to minimize plant shutdown time.

Plants & Systems Modifications (MOCs) / Maint. Projects: Conducted plant / systems performance studies to improve / maintain facilities integrity.
