Carmen served as a Billing Specialist and was one of our initial hires when establishing a Medical Billing Department in 2012. IntraNerve is a national Telemedicine and Neurology services provider on over 9,000 complex surgical cases per year, across 20+ states. In this capacity, Carmen was responsible for handling Accounts Receivable that included follow-up with insurance carriers and ensuring accurate billing information to process claims by following payor requirements and company protocols. This was a detail-oriented position which required a multi-tasking and strong interpersonal communication skills via phone, e-mail correspondence, and mailings. Carmen excelled over the years in the handling our Workman’s Compensation, Motor Vehicle, and Lien Payor claims.
