Qualifications

Licensed PJE with 20 years of maintenance and electrical experience in the food industry. Responsible for production and support equipment including spare parts ordering, planned and reactive maintenance, and capital project planning. Experienced in troubleshooting many different types of production equipment. Knowledgeable in CMMS systems.

Work Experience

Rosboro Glulam: October 18 2021 to present. Working as an electrician, responsible for the mill site electrical infrastructure including 12 large gantry cranes, air compressors and many pieces of large mill equipment.

Attune Foods, a subsidiary of Post Cereal Foods November 1993 to February 2020:

December 2007 – Present: 1st shift maintenance lead/plant electrician/maintenance technician. Maintaining plant wide electrical infrastructure of 120/240V 3ph and 277/480V 3ph services, contractor coordination, project management, involved in new production line designs, installations, and improvements on existing processes, sourcing parts, installing new and existing VFD applications and maintaining plant support equipment. Apprenticeship training.

March 2003 to November 2007: Extrusion Maintenance Technician. Maintained all equipment in our extrusion plant including a 250 hp DC Extruder and the relevant support equipment such as a boiler, two air compressors, a chiller, industrial size mixers, flaking mills and numerous gas fired ovens. This included ordering the necessary spare parts from both local and international vendors. On call 24/7 to diagnose and fix the numerous problems that occurred, saving the company money by reducing down time.

January 1999 to March 2003: Tea Packaging Machine Maintenance Technician. Responded to production line calls. Involved in numerous rebuilds on C21 & C23 machines.

November 1993 to January 1999: Started in sanitation and worked my way up. Trained to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and hi-lifts. Was lead operator on swing shift cereal packaging line. Weekend 2nd shift tea machine operator on C21 machine.

September 1989 to September 1993: US Navy. Made E3 in four years. Honorably discharged.
