• Arrange proper program to inspect buildings and equipment to determine the need for alternation or repairs and assure that the work is properly performed.

• Responsible for the selection, coordination and managing regular operations of all maintenance service contractors and ensures all contractual provisions are met along with established codes.

• Maintain an inventory process of parts and supplies to maximize the operational readiness of hospital buildings, systems, and equipment with due respect to the limitations of cost, regulations and relative priorities.

• Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work, alterations, remodeling, minor construction, and the checkout, installation, and servicing of mechanical and electrical equipment and building systems.

• Act as the key contact for after-hours fire alarm incidents and emergency maintenance events such as a burst pipes or storm damage, including on-site attendance to these matters as appropriate.

• Coordinate all activities with the other related departments to ensure that all building repairs are performed safely without disturbing the Hospital operations.
