Overall Purpose of the Role:
Lead the manufacturing function with budget and output targets to meet customer requirements and standards.Full accountability for ensuring safety,customer quality,cost and delivery requirements are met.Responsible for developing an enthusiastic,motivated and flexible team by building working relationships ensuring that Health,Safety and Enviornmental requirements are adehered to. Manage the team on best practice and establish standard poilices and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading teams.Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training,working practices and processes. Key responsibilities:
Strategy and Development:
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision,Strategy,Policies,Processes and Procedures to aid and improve operational performance
Identify Business improvement oppurtunities within the organization General Task and Management:
Effectively and efficiently manage the production of the required daily/Weekly/Monthly/Targets in line with customer specifications,meeting quality and delivery expectations,minimizing costs where possible and ensure the required best working practices are maintained all times.
Responsible for plant production,Financial performance,meeting customer requirements and maintaining the orderly and productive operation of planned activities
Ensure the target productivity level is achieved on a daily basis
Drive process improvements on Overall Equipement Effectiveness by appropriate data analysis. Production Planning and control:
Forecasting the product cost and Equipements scheduling
Preparing and Executing monthly Production Plan(Gantt chart)
Prepare the Strategic pre planning(Yearly,Monthly,Fortnight,Weekly,Daily)
Preparing the Demand plan
Plan future projects capacity requirements
People management:
Ensure the delivery of the people strategy within area of accountability
Set department objectives/KPI and review and assess ongoing perofmance of direct reports
Daily supervision to maximize efficient productivity.
Motivate and mentor the team to operational success
Communicate KPIs from the strategic annual plan so that each employee is aware. Budget control:
Input and hold responsibility for manufacturing budgets
Prepare the annual manufacturing budget and forecasts and all capital expenditure proposals

Sourcing:
Identify and develop potential vendors/suppliers for new product based on customer specifications

Vendor development for localization for Plastic containers,Corrugated box,product labels,Pouch rolls,foil sheet,wrapping rolls,crayovac rolls,bopp tapes,blister trays
Ensure effective utilization of vendors through KPI for improvement of allocation.
Review on supplier Risk assessment,conduct audit and supplier business review meeting. Purchase:
Effective Material procurement planning on MRP and inventory control based on production and supply plan based on customer’s Demand Visibility and Past consumption.
Effective plan on procurement of materials to meet the production plan and demand under the ultra low cost
Review the continuous improvement on supplies from vendors for uninterrupted supply.
Effective analysis to control the material in RD and EOL to avoid excess and liability.
Effective action to clear RTV,Excess and obsolete stock to have inventory control and ensure the targeted level of days of supply(DOS)
Warehouse:
Peroidical inventory audit of stocks(R/M,P/M,SFG,FG)
Effective follow up the FIFO and LIFO methods
Goods issue, return and FG receipt process entry verify in SAP on daily basis..
Ensure Process & Supplier rejection entry process in SAP on daily basis
GRPO process in sap with Batch no.allocation for all type of components
Follow up the POD & GRN confirmation process
