Job Objective: provided administrative support to Project Managers, President, and GMM customers, was the primary contact for suppliers as the purchasing coordinator.
●Manageed, organized, and update relevant data for customer orders, supplier quotes/purchase orders, invoices (both customer and supplier) using the company database and software (mie TRAK).
●Worked with Project Management to confirm customer requirements, and communicate any changes/confirmations to the customers. This included shipment delays, PO clarifications, part deviations, and shipment notifications.
●Created work orders and prepared existing parts for production. This involved checking material, hardware, and finished goods inventory, and updating mie TRAK and the status sheet.
For government contracts and assembly parts,forward to Project Management for preparation.
●Worked with Project Management and Production Supervisor through production meetings to provide status to customers and suppliers, and mie TRAK and status sheet with current information.
●Ordered product (raw material, hardware, tooling, etc.) and receive in Purchase Orders using the company database (mie TRAK).
●Verified completed work orders: signed off and Bill of Material issued from the mie TRAK inventory system. Review completed work orders for changes needed, and update mie TRAK routers as needed.
●Negotiated with suppliers as needed on substitutions, returns, replacements, and product, freight, and handling charges.
●Coordinated and follow-ups with suppliers to aid in the fulfillment of orders and on-time delivery.
●Managed GMM Kanbans (Office, Shop, Customer, and Vendor) in coordination with the Plant Custodian.
●Approved supplier invoices, update mie TRAK PO receiver module, and forward approved invoices to President for further processing and payment. Resolve any discrepancies directly with the Supplier.
●Maintain and updated customer and supplier records in mie TRAK. This included pricing and product changes.
