I am a Bachelor’s degree holder in business administration. While seeking for a job, I seized the opportunity and attended the Chartered Institute for Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Programme, UK, supported by Tamkeen. I finished both CIPS level 2&3 so far and obtained high pass marks.

I am looking for a post preferably in a procurement and supply chain management, logistics, or any other job that coincide with my experience and qualification. I am a highly motivated, dynamic and well-organized person, and can handle responsibilities without direct supervision.

I work at Al Dhaen Boats WLL as a Purchasing Officer. I am responsible for purchasing items from vendors and suppliers, filling out all necessary purchase orders. Developing and maintain procurement policy and procedures in line with Company objectives. Negotiate new contracts with existing and new vendors and suppliers by selecting and agree deal price within the budget, credit terms, purchase incentive and quality standards. locate new vendors and establish working relationships with them. And also maintain existing vendor and supplier relationships. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering new items as needed to keep the inventory fully stocked and supplied, Monitor supplier’s offers and promotions. Work and familiar with ERP system.

I worked at the Ahli United Bank as a Direct Sales Officer in the personal loan section. Since joining them, I have always achieved the high target assigned to me, and managed the work in an efficient way.

- 1 July 2016 – August 2018

I worked as a sales Executive at Logic Institute for Training & HRD, and my major tasks were marketing & sales of Logic's courses to companies & individuals, besides contact and make relationship with potential clients. My major focus and objectives while there was the CIPS programme, which was the core course at Logic.

- Worked at Batelco in the BCC building's retail shop as a Retail Officer

(summer training job), summer 2010. In this section my major duty was to handle customers' accounts and deal with all matters relating to SIM card services. Additionally, I was helping customers in the auto-pay services.

- 2014 – 2018

Worked at Al-Jehad Food Stuff & Transportation for two year (2014 - 2016) on full time, and for another two years (2016 - 2018) on a part-time basis. During this period I was responsible for the Procurement and Logistics activities. As far as the procurement is concern I was responsible for all the purchases from local as well as international while keeping an eye on the market prices during the supply and demand of the items to be purchased, ensuring most of the items, if not all, are sold up front prior to their arrival to cut down on any storage charges. This is done in liaison with the sales and warehouse managers. Additionally, ensuring the items required by our clients are scheduled prior to their distribution ensuring minimum cost, and without any waste of any of the resources incurred to the organisation.

- Worked at the Social Insurance Organization (SIO) for two months (1 July 2013 – 29 August 2013) as part of my university program in the “Risk and Compliance Department/ Quality Division”.
