Direct, conceptualize and curate all branding for the United States government agency, VOICE OF AMERICA, and its consumer-facing presentation. Lead, manage and direct a multi-talented and disciplined staff of motion designers, writers, editors, and production support in generating the content, communication, and design, of all media across the internet, print, social, and broadcast in 47 different languages. STUDIO MANAGEMENT AND WORKFLOW: As a hands-on Creative Director and Art Director, responsible for generating original concepts and designs in addition to overseeing the production of complex designed video motion graphics, the show opens, network motion branding graphics, print presentations, key art, VOA’s OTT display AP, communication and marketing materials, inclusive of cross-collateral advertising, and branding of VOA’s News and video content. Oversees and manages a staff of more than 50 personnel, departmental budgets, equipment upgrades, purchases, leases, assets, and workspace accommodations. Vice President, Entertainment Marketing, Digital and On-Air Design CREATIVE DIRECTOR / ART DIRECTOR: Managed and directed 20+ creative personnel within the departmental creative services asset and design studio for NBC Universal Marketing Advertising and Promotions. Oversaw and supervised the creation of original content and design for on-air promotional video spots, key art, on-air branding, digital and social media content, AR, website, experiential, launch campaigns of current shows, Sports, Olympics, News, Television Distribution, Corporate Communications, Network Website, in addition to NBCU/Comcast cable networks. Accountable steward of the NBC consumer-facing visual presentation in setting the tone, tenor, and ethos of the NBC Primetime Entertainment on a daily and topical basis, in addition to the corporate visual identity and NBC Peacock Mark for all on-air, digital and social media applications. Developed NBC’s primetime entertainment brand image campaigns and repositioning, translated marketing visions into creative strategy briefs while creative directing a team of print designers, motion designers, web designers, editors, visual effects artists, social and digital content creators, writers, and editors.
