Sr. Technical Operations Specialist–ADP, Elk Grove, IL 2018– 2021

Experience using the BMC Enterprise Manager (EM) Control -M version 9.0.19.200. As a Sr. Technical Specialist. I oversaw creating scheduling logical processes across multiple data centers. Scheduling duties include but not limited to, creating one off batch jobs within end of night schedules. Frequency included using specific dates, rule based, periodic or advance calendars. Created complex scheduling flows using conditions, quantitative resources and or control resources. Daily use of the five primary domains of EM GUI (Planning, Monitoring, History, Forecast, Tools). Other scheduling duties include using variables, cyclic scheduling, on do actions (acceptable return codes, email alerts and incident case alerts). Yearly scheduling calendar maintenance such as US and Canada holidays and various rule based, regular and periodic calendars. Troubleshooting existing scheduling abnormalities, checking jobs waiting resources, pending order date conditions and schedules not loading. Creating promotion rules through the Planning domain and building out presets’ rules for mast scheduling changes (changing condition names, set jobs to dummy events, etc.). Accessing the Forecast domain to verify scheduling dates and flows are correct. Using Control-O rule definition entry panel created DSNTRGR (Data set trigger), MSGTRGR (Trigger based on specific Messages), JOBTRGR (Jobs Triggered based on conditions or other jobs). Some knowledge using Control-M Configuration Manager and Control-M Server Communication Status. Worked with Engineering, DB2, CICS and Storage Teams creating maintenance schedules.

Software: z/OS – JES2 operating system 02.03.00 36 logical Partitions, TSO (SDSF,ISPF), BMC EM Control-M, NETVIEW (System Automation), TSO SYSVIEW, CA SERVICE DESK MANAGER and WEBEX Teams.
