Job Responsibilities

Housekeeping -

Responsible to make sure the cleanliness of the entire hotel up to the set standard.

Responsible To organize and direct a team develops top quality with prompt, accurate and personalized service in order to achieve optimum level of guest satisfaction and departmental profitability in an atmosphere of teamwork and high employee moral.

Keep always expenses reasonable and below budget to contribute the hotel profitability through effective cost controls with out affecting the quality.

Forecast the staffing according to the occupancy.

Making sure the Training schedules are in place and strictly followed to stay on "top of the job" at all times and remain result oriented

Inspect all the VIP arrivals and make sure all guest rooms are serviced without complaints.

Random inspections of the vacant and occupied rooms released by room attendant

Make sure the cleaning schedules are followed.

Make sure to control the wastage of amenities and assist to achieve the departmental cost control.

Schedule the vacation calendar as per the seasons.

Training the new staff the usage of new machineries and chemicals.

Training the staff on daily basis as scheduled by the training manager.

Accomodation –

Responsible cleanliness inside and out of the accommodation.

Responsible to organize and direct the team towards excellent work performance.

Making the duty roaster for the staff.

Conducting daily briefing and training for the staff.

Making schedule for room inspection and checking the rooms in co-ordination with HR department.

Taking inventory for linen, cutlery, chemical and fix items in the staff room.

Responsible for maintenance in staff room.

Responsible for the cleanliness of the staff cafeteria.

At Verde -

Responsible cleanliness inside and out of the Residential area having three tower i.e. around 140 apartments.

Responsible to organize and direct the team towards excellent work performance.

Making the duty roaster for the staff.

Conducting daily briefing and training for the staff.

Making sure cleaning schedule are on track and maintained.

Extra cleaning schedule are made and maintained for the upkeep of the property.

Maintenance issues are identified on floor on daily basis and addressed to project team and follow up done until the issue is fixed.

Periodic floor polishing schedule for guest lobby / main lobby area is made and implemented.

Glass cleaning schedule for all tower is implemented as per schedule made.

Parking area – extra cleaning implemented as per schedule made.

Guest survey done to understand the needs of the guest and improvements to be done for guest satisfaction.

Educational qualification

Completed BSC. degree from University of Pune

Technical qualification

Completed diploma in hotel management from International Trade Centre, Pune.

Having knowledge of ‘Fidelio’ and ‘Opera’.
