ROLE: Field Trainer, Safe Village Program, Her Choices Trust

IMPACT AREAS:

Conducting Safe Village Programs per the guidebook, utilizing the flipchart and reporting timely about the program conducted in the formats specified - presenting the flip chart, reading the comic book, watching videos, and asking both girls and boys to pledge their commitment to protecting themselves and their peers.

Establish a network of volunteers - Rakshak, Gram Mitra, and Nodal Teachers in all villages the SVP is conducted in.

Follow Up on all cases that come up in the area through helpline and through programs.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE:

● School-based outreach to children: Engaging children via teacher and student engagement through a School-based outreach program to disseminate information, raise awareness and influence attitudes and behaviours of children over the long-term

● Community-based outreach to children: Organise events targeting out-of-school children

● Parents outreach: Parents outreach to disseminate information, raise awareness and influence attitudes and behaviours of parents of at-risk children, by helping them to understand the risks, warning signs and consequences of falling prey to CT and CSEC through deception from recruiters, matchmakers and traffickers.

● Rakshaks, Nodal Teachers and Gram Mitras: Establish the custodians of the Safe Village after the program.

● In-person consultations (WOM Counselling): Carry out face-to-face consultations directly with individuals, small groups and families to raise awareness and drive behaviour and attitude change.

Online Training Programme on improving the Efficiency, Effectiveness and Governability of Agriculture Value Chains and marketing Strategies for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods : role of MGNREGS.

E-Training Programme on Role of Local Self Governments in Community Based Disaster Management.

Completion the training for Operation Red alert's SAVE VILLAGE PROGRAM which is ongoing under My Choices Foundation.
