Involved in basic medical and surgical work, assisting senior consultants in minor surgeries and independently performing few minor surgeries such as ganglion excision, wound suturing, lipoma excision etc.

2)Orthopedic Residency- Government Medical College, Patiala

June 2014- June 2017

1st year- doing routine ward work (wound dressing, patients notes, ward management), primary management of orthopedic emergencies, accidents and trauma cases, assisting senior consultants in all types of trauma surgeries and specialized orthopedic surgeries including spine surgeries, joint replacement surgeries, complex trauma surgeries and pediatric orthopedic surgeries.

2nd year- doing routine ward work, guiding junior residents, managing emergencies and accident cases in casualty, operating independently some of the trauma cases such as long bone fractures, pediatric fractures, joint dislocations and assisting senior consultants in complex trauma and joint surgeries.

3rd year- Independently performing routine orthopedic trauma surgeries such as tibia and femur fracture nailing and plating, forearm and humerus fractures plating and nailing, pediatric orthopedic trauma surgeries, and assisting seniors in complex trauma and joint surgeries. Also involved in teaching undergraduates MBBS and nursing students.
