my own trucking company and gained a lot knowledge about freight movement, logistics, and customer relationships. This gives me a lot more versatility in the transportation industry.

EXPERIENCE

TRUCK DRIVER, SCHNEIDER NATIONAL — JULY 2005 - SEPTEMBER 2006 Started my trucking career here with Schneider. I left to become an owner operator with FFE.

TRUCK DRIVER, FFE — SEPTEMBER 2006 - NOVEMBER 2006 Became an owner operator, they gave me equipment but it stayed breaking down. They had no other equipment so I had to return it to them. TRUCK DRIVER, HEARTLAND EXPRESS — DECEMBER 2006 - JANUARY 2007 Regional job with good pay, we had a couple of things that we didn’t agree on so they decided to let me go.

I was told one thing by recruiting but when I went to orientation the pay that the recruiter told me wasn’t accurate. I knew I wasn’t going to stay long. TRUCK DRIVER, SWIFT TRANSPORTATION — JUNE 2007 - AUGUST 2009 2009 is when Swift lost a lot of their customers because of the economic collapse. There were times when I would sit waiting for a load for 5 days. So I left. TRUCK DRIVER, CRST — AUGUST 2009 - MAY 20011

Lack of freight was the main issue towards the end with CRST. TRUCK DRIVER, M & W TRANSPORT — JUNE 2011 - JULY 2011 It was a temp position. They are based out of TN and had a contract with Publix that was temporary.

TRUCK DRIVER, RINSINGER —JANUARY 2013 - MARCH 2013 I was an owner operator with them briefly. It didn’t work out because of I wanted to try other areas outside of trucking.

I bought my first truck and wanted to learn how to book my own freight. Celadon didn’t have a way for me to increase my income. So I went to MAG Carriers because they allowed me to negotiate with brokers and customers. OWNER OPERATOR, MAG CARRIERS — JUNE 2014 - JULY 2015 I left MAG the first time to start my own company, Global Vision Transportation. OWNER, GLOBAL VISION TRANSPORTATION — JULY 2015 - DECEMBER 2017 When my motor blew in one of my trucks and I had surgery, I put my driver in my truck. He got into an accident and I couldn’t get insurance after that. OWNER OPERATOR, MAG CARRIERS — JANUARY 2018 - MAY 2020 I couldn’t find freight because of covid 19, had to sit because of it. MAG wanted to consolidate by taking the truck that I was leasing. I was terminated because I no longer had equipment.

Truck Driver, GDJ Enterprises – July 2020 - February 2021 This was a job helping a friend get his trucking company off the ground. The truck needed an overhaul.
