1: Worked with Services & Trade Co. LLC, one of the biggest Furniture Manufacturing & Interior Decoration firm in Sultanate of Oman. Serving Period: From 1999 to June 2020.
Designation: Head of Factory purchase and Stores (Central Stores, Wadi- Kabir)
Worked as a Stores-In-Charge at Ghala STC Raw material storage Facility in Muscat from 1999 – 2006. Additionally handled the Camp Administrator’s job successfully for the same period.
Operational In-Charge of Timber Treatment Facility Comprising with Drying Kilns, Impregnation Plant, Saw Mill for STC from 2001 to June 2020.
Worked as a Stores-Executive 2006-2012 at Central Stores Wadi-Kabir
Worked as “Head of Stores” from 2012 to June 2020.
Operational in charge for factory purchases from 2018 march to June 2020 JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Inventory & handling all the Import and Local procurement items, 2. Raw material inventory & forecasting with respect to projects 3. Co-coordinator between all raw material warehouses 4. . Issue & control of material inventory
5. Clearing the consignment & handling all related paperwork 6. Vendor development for Wood, Boards, Glues, Veneers, Paint and Polish items, Glass/ Mirrors, Fittings for Furniture, Tools for factory, Ironmongery, etc. in local as well as international markets
7. Preparation and implementation for stores function in related to various certifications like FSC, Q Mark Audit for fire rated doors, ISO and QMS Documentation, etc.
8. Prepare and agree a project procurement strategy with head of project execution within 10 days or 5% of contract period whichever is shorter from internal project handover.
9. Achieve 10% cost saving for each project from the budget. 10. Ensure 100% response to RFQ raised by projects within 5 working days 11. Ensure 100% of PRs are converted to POs within 10 calendar days 12. Ensure all vendors are registered in company web portal following the due process.
13. At least once in half yearly all Vendor evaluation is completed and vendor lower than the expectation are updated in the portal and action taken in line with SCM vendor policy.
14. Ensure 100% open POs and WO are closed in coordination with projects within 20 days from substantial completion of the project. 15. Ensure 3 number of new vendors are identified for each product other than specified products within calendar year.
16. Ensure at least 50% of the team members attend local exhibitions and network with new vendors every quarter and 5% 30% of them attending GCC Exhibitions
