JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Checking and recording the Plant log sheet each an every day a variety of readings such as Oil Gas flow, Temperature and Pressure.

Reporting of Equipments and instrument defects, unwanted noises and leaks immediately to Foreman or Supervisors and take possible actions.

Every midnight taking and calculating Chemical Tanks Readings (PPD, Demulsifier and Corrosion Inhibitor).

Make regular checks of all equipment and units that functioning correctly in accordance with standard operating procedure.

Report all equipment and instrument defects and leaks immediately to senior foreman / supervisor and take possible corrective action.

Applies work procedures and Permit to Work (Hot & Cold Permit) instruction during maintenance and other activities in work area.

Checking and following the start-up sequence during the start-up of Equipment (such as Booster pumps, Air Compressors, turbine & Separators etc.)

Assist in isolating, draining, purging and handling over equipment’s for maintenance on inspection and check the equipment’s for its correct operations when the maintenance job is completed.

Assist in the preparation of pressure vessel for inspection and depressurizing

Assist in carrying out the routine weekly run test of equipment’s like emergency diesel generator, diesel and electrical fire pump. Valve cycling, manual level gauge cleaning.

Participate under instruction in launching pigs in to pipe lines, prepare pig receiver stations and remove the pig and check it for damages under the guidance of the executive engineer.

Unload Chemical into tanks for injection, start and adjust the flow rate of chemical injection pumps as required, GCI pump calibration, Corrosion Inhibitor injection.

Check the water/oil interface level in sump tank and operate their pumps locally when required.

Collect oil, gas and water samples and measure the water cut in the oil, salt concentration in the produce water and pass the sample to the laboratory for analysis.

Well Head Operations :

Inspection & Operation of Christmas tree. Flow line flushing job, SSV operations. Flow line choke changing, FTHP (pressure) taking, valve operation, Gas lifting, Water injection, Chemical injection, PIG launching & receiving and Inspection of pipelines for leakage & puncture. Well annulus pressure bleeding, Lower & upper master valve, Wing valve, Arm valve, Adjustable valve operation. Well opening, closing operation and Trouble shooting etc.

Gathering Stations:

Operation and control of wells through different headers for Optimum productions. Oil manifolds, Gas lift manifolds, Surge Tanks, Separators ( Two/Three Phase), Dehydrators, Desalters, Water disposal Pumps, Crude Oil Transfer pumps, Chemical injection for oil and gas, pigging operations for Oil and gas lines, Gas compressors, Interstage scrubber, Gas treatment, Glycol injectors, Gas Regenerations units, Gas Export routine sampling of oil and gas, Water injection treated water samples, condensate, Glycol,. Isolation and desolation of equipments, vessels tanks for maintenance. Gas testing for hot works, Mechanical and Electrical Isolation procedures and Co-ordination with Maintenance crew, Trouble shooting, Reporting Plant condition to the superiors
