·Maintaining all the metallurgical and surface coating characteristics of the incoming (BOSF & BOP parts) and ongoing process materials within the specifications,

·Working under DWM methodology.

·Making & ensuring quality plan as for different Heat treatment process.

·Ensure lab reports and QA reports are generated on timely basis and .

·Taking &ensure corrective actions w.r.t. metallurgical problems non confirming parts.

·Determine & ensure CAPA is done for defective & rejected components .

·Doing internal validation of the HT equipment on timely basis.

·To coordinate with exter1nal inspection agencies for inspection and clearance of specific orders

·Coordinate on timely basis with the third party for metallurgical instruments calibration as well as consumable required for metallurgical activity.

·Doing Validation & Re validation of Heat treatment, painting & plating process.

·Maintaining all the metallurgical characteristics of the incoming and ongoing process materials within the specifications

·Steering metallurgical, painting & plating quality audit of heat treatment shop, paint shop & plating shop& investigation of heat treatment, paint & plating problem, thereby finding the appropriate solution

·Attending customer complaints internal as well as external

·Study and analyzing the various qualities problems w.r.t market warranty & taking the actions to solve the problems within the desired period

·Steel new Grade Development and Modification in existing grade to meet customer requirement

·Ensuring compliance to the production standards & continuous improvement in process capabilities; conducting rigorous testing of the methods to ensure that they are precise, accurate, reproducible and specific to the product
