Career Profile
I am a construction profession with over 20 years proven experience in design construction and maintenance of civil engineering infrastructure. I can handle sites diligently by skillfully managing the requirements of diverse range of people including clients, design team, subcontractors and others.
To ensure the success of projects I handle, speed and quality control is of paramount importance in my plans. I can handle queries from the design team, management and ISO auditors with ease to protect the reputation of the company I serve. Using my estimating and costing skills I can schedule the delivery of needed materials and labor requirements accurately. I am also a team player who can provide technical input regarding design construction and maintenance and complying with the enforcement codes to prevent fine and interruptions. June 2019 to Date: KIRI Consult Limited (Attached to a Kenyan Road Board Contract on consultancy services to conduct a study on vehicle loading trends in Kenya.)
Position: Field Technician
Duties
In liaison with the Police in each quarter make field visits to Independently weigh all heavy goods vehicles using mobile weighbridge equipment to collect the following data; total number of vehicles by type and direction, details of vehicle including registration number, make and transporter details
Visit two KeNHA weighbridges per quarter to assess their weighbridge processes and collect data on improvements required.
Arranging for maintenance of the weighing equipment, e.g. calibration, charging etc.
