I Worked as a Metrology & CMM Technician, Managing the plant's measurement equipment, registering, deleting and periodically calibrating the instruments, updating the database
(GageTrack) day by day.
In addition to managing a coordinate measuring equipment
(CMM) releasing first production items, making dimensional to PPAP (production parts approval process) of final units and components.
As a Metrologist & CMM Technician, I worked in the implementation of different projects, such as:
• A program was carried out to carry out GR & R to the measurement teams, having evidence of the studies for Internal and External audits
In addition to performing and participating with the team
(Staff) in Preventive and Corrective Actions, Customer Complaints, Internal and External Audits, Kaizen Events and process mapping. As a quality engineer, I worked on the implementation of different projects, such as:
• The external PPMS were kept below two digits for a period of two years, conducting staff training based on the monitoring of their processes, weekly process audits and daily inspector audits.
• A 30% reduction project was carried out in internal PPMS, with a preventive approach, thus reducing costs for reworking and, above all, preventing customer claims.
• A poka-yoke project was implemented in production lines to prevent and detect defective products before reaching final inspection.
• Annual cost in external calibrations of measurement equipment was reduced, implementing templates to perform calibrations in the plant.
• Quality Inspectors were trained in different production areas
(Multi-skilled), offering better support to the production areas in a timely manner, as well as solving the problem due to lack of personnel.

• Training in granite stone calibration was required, reducing costs for external calibrations.
• Measurement programs were carried out in CMM to speed up the process of first article releases, of components of (Incoming Inspection), PPAPS that were similar (by family).
