CORNING (OPTICAL FIBER), FEBRUARY 2018 – PRESENT: DRAW SUPPORT/DRAW MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN/SHIPPING AND MATERIAL HANDLING

Draw Support in repairing irradiators, fiber shuttles and TCSD heaters. Worked closely with Engineers to troubleshoot and enhance failed equipment.

Draw Manufacturing Technician working in a team-based environment to turn equipment and improve safety and the quality of our fiber.

Shipping and Material Handling (Present). Loading and unloading trucks with electric pallet jacks, standup forklifts, and sit-down forklifts. Also providing multiple areas of the plant with raw materials. Transport full and empty kegs of process material to certain areas and keeping track of what’s needed and where. Operate water treatment plant, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines and procedures, and use technology to monitor, analyze, and make adjustment to water quality.

Experience in chemical safety and their properties.

Shipping experience consists of “sit down” and “stand up” forklift operation, UPS and FedEx shipping programs, and multiple types of conveyor systems.

Basic knowledge of XPPS, QAD, and Microsoft applications.
