CORNING (OPTICAL FIBER), FEBRUARY 2018 – PRESENT: DRAW SUPPORT/DRAW MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN/SHIPPING AND MATERIAL HANDLING
Draw Support in repairing irradiators, fiber shuttles and TCSD heaters. Worked closely with Engineers to troubleshoot and enhance failed equipment.
Draw Manufacturing Technician working in a team-based environment to turn equipment and improve safety and the quality of our fiber.
Shipping and Material Handling (Present). Loading and unloading trucks with electric pallet jacks, standup forklifts, and sit-down forklifts. Also providing multiple areas of the plant with raw materials. Transport full and empty kegs of process material to certain areas and keeping track of what’s needed and where. Operate fill stations to refill the kegs in accordance to what is needed for production.

Basic knowledge of XPPS, QAD, and Microsoft applications.
