NATURE OF JOB:
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In charge of manpower management for the department.
Handling daily operation for the Housekeeping Department.
Handling VIP rooms and corporate rooms.
Dealing with supplier regarding casual staff as per department requirement.
To supervise the Housekeeping operation ensuring that the hotel standards and procedures are fully and followed.
To ensuring that all designated rooms are prepared as per standard and if any special guest preference has been taken care.
To ensuring that all designated public areas are cleaned and maintained as per established standards, set-ups and schedules.
Taking handover of project rooms from engineering department.
Has efficiently handled lost and found as per hotel policies.
To handle guest complaints with regards to Housekeeping services or maintenances.
QUALITY/TRAINING:
To provide a zero defect room with efficient service to the guest.
Handling guest complaints and resolving them accordingly.
Managing resources and implementation of new policies.
Interviewing and selecting the best qualified candidates as per the position, ensuring
that proper training programs are being conducted.
Evaluating continuously the performance of all employees and counseling them in case of any deviation.
Conducting departmental meeting with employees.
