PURCHASE FIELD – 6 YEARS

Develops, manages and controls the Purchasing department budget, relative to capital, expenses and headcount targets

Work with suppliers and have a process in place to measure effective performance, quality and compliance. Measure against KPI criteria if these exist

Utilize appropriate resources including Supplier Development to ensure appropriate supplier partnerships and delivery of sourced products

Building and maintaining good relationships with commodity suppliers and distributors.

Studying market trends and identifying any risks when sourcing and procuring commodities.

Tracking of the key department metrics, including sourcing, value analysis, tooling cost, savings, inventory, transportation cost.

Handle shipment notification (pre-alert) and tracking the consignment and updating the related documents.

Responsible for releasing the MRP schedule for suppliers through SAP.

Co-ordination for delivery with vendors and freight forwarders.

Participated in the reviewing of material shortages, monitoring and expediting of items.
