Involved in Production planning of Intermediates at Par Formulations’ facility in Chennai, which can deliver over a billion tablets/capsules and 50 tons of dry powder per year. Strictly following cGMP, Safety and Environmental Practices. Filling of Batch Manufacturing record and equipment cleaning record. Following Good Manufacturing practices during operations. Ensuring Good Housekeeping in the respective plant area and its equipment. Usage of Proper personnel protective equipment as per requirement. Planning and ensuring RM availability for daily production as per production plan. Maintaining the documents like Issue and dispensing register Carrying out the process as per BMR without any deviation. Ensuring adherence to data Integrity in the online documentation. Handling of Hazardous operations in a safe manner. Effective utilization of resources like Utility, Men and Machine. Issue and Control of Intermediates.

Ensuring Safety in the Manufacturing Process for both labours and the machinery. Carry out the operations and maintain the process parameters to get consistent yield and quality. Responsible for the smooth and safe running of Process plants without compromising with Safety and quality.

Report the abnormality in the process to superiors immediately and recording the same in documentation as well.

Following safe work permit procedures for Hot & Cold Jobs. Maintaining various parameters during the process as per the batch manufacturing record [BMR]. Coordinated with production, maintenance and quality control department for planning and execution of all production activities.

Adhering to cGMP (Current Good manufacturing practice) in the manufacturing of Active pharmaceutical ingredients (API).

Coordinate with different departments like QA, QC, Engineering and warehouse. Handle operator training programs and assures operator training is conducted on SOPs, cGMP, and Safety.

Oversees hourly operators in daily work execution; ensures operators comply with validated parameters and standard operating procedures.

Develops daily/weekly department work schedules, set priorities and verifies the availability of resources.

Responsible for schedule adherence; participates in scheduling meetings with the objectives of increased resource utilization.

Responsive to changes in daily workflow and schedule; determines needs and redeploys resources and overtime to achieve delivery and customer service commitments; adapts to ebb/flow of production process including changes due to unplanned maintenance. Complete in-process, set up checks and verification in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures Understands and adhere to good documentation practices (GDP) Initiates and executes change control assignments supporting continuous improvement initiatives for equipment, documentation, or processes.

Follow and comply with company safety policies and OSHA Regulations Participates in safety meetings, investigates accidents and takes appropriate corrective action to eliminate hazardous conditions

Additional Technical Skills

Able to read and prepare Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagram

(P&ID).

Design calculations such as Line sizing, PSV sizing, Control valve sizing. Pump sizing using NPSH.

Sizing of the heat exchanger by using Exchanger Design and Rating (EDR), as per TEMA. Aspen HYSYS simulation - To develop heat and mass balance. Datasheet preparation - To develop the equipment size, process condition, fluid properties, specifications and process diagram.
