JOB DESCRIPTION

I hold the position as Nursing coordinator and Emergency department, reporting to the Director of Nursing as a fulltime worker on both Day and Night.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Admitting the patient according to the roles and regulation.

Ensure the constant provision of high standard of nursing care to the patient ratio of 1:2.

Responsible for assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient care.

Responsible of assisting patient in admission procedure and explanation about the facilities and rules to the patient for basic needs.

Nursing care of patient with medical and surgical emergencies.

Care of the patient who is on ventilator and having all types of drainage tubes and pressure monitoring lines.

Providing provide active and passive exercise to the patient.

Calculation pressure sore care to the patients.

Doing procedure like IV insertion, blood collection, blood transfusion etc.

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.

Storing of dangerous drugs.

Maintaining proper record about patients and equipments.

Health education to the patient and family.

Coordinating with other health personnel like physician, technicians to provide better health care to the patient.

Initiate and actively participate in cardio pulmonary resuscitation.

Care of patients with bedside dialysis.
