SUMMARY

Progressive experiences in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, Detailed Design and Construction for Onshore Oil and Gas Plant, Offshore Platform and Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) Projects. Experienced in the operation of Autodesk AutoCAD, Intergraph Microstation, SPI INtools, CARDS+ (Cable and Raceway Design System plus), Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Developed Instrumentation/Electrical engineering and detailed design specified on scope of work, Project Engineering Design Practice, Project specifications, Philosophies, Drawing standards, Codes and Regulations. Supervising Instrumentation team of designers & draftsmen during the preparation of detailed design construction packages for DCS/IPS/FGS and telecoms systems using SPI INtools, Integraph Microstation and Autocad as the primary design tool. Responsibilities as Lead Designer included job allocation, progress monitoring & reporting, checking & QA/QC, timesheet approval and general supervision. Other duties included client, vendors & construction source coordination. Reviewing with the Project Design Drafting Coordinator all the needs and technical aspects which can affect the schedule of the Job and acting as interface with the other Design Drafting Groups. Preparing and reviewing of General Specifications and Job Specifications for compliance with the Client's requirements and for their reciprocal consistency.

Prepares instrument loops diagram showing connections between the components of instrument and control loops and identifying pneumatic and wiring connections, terminals, cables and core numbers.

Prepares Instrument location layout drawings which are shown the approximate location of instruments, tapping points, panel, control valves etc. and the proposed routing of air headers, transmission, tubing and wiring.

Prepares instrument hook-ups and installation details showing piping and mounting arrangements for various instruments with itemized material list for each arrangement.

Design and arrange control room layout showing positions of control panels and auxiliary racks in the control room and the routing of cable tray/rack and cables.

Prepares multicore cable and tubing routing plan showing the approximate locations of the main junction boxes and the routing of the multicores and shown applicable cable trench cross sections, cable tray layout and multicore cable transit.

Prepares junction box layouts giving details of individual junction boxes showing the cabling connections, terminal details and identification.

Prepares cable/tubing schedules which shown the lists of all instrument multicore cabling/tubing with lengths, sizes, connection point, core identification and relevant technical information.

Prepares bulk or installation material summary which shown details of the material quantities required for the installation of each instrument and total quantities ordered or to be provided.

Prepares wiring/termination diagram and interconnection/interface drawings for Vendor or Skid packages. such as Interposing Relays, Subsea, Generators, Switchgear, MCC, Compressors and others.

Working in site for engineering and construction support, Incorporating construction design modifications, Issuing site instruction, Replying site queries, Prepares construction change notification, Carry-out inspection/survey, Coordinate field construction inquiries for resolution and as-built drawing.
