Responsible for operating and maintaining the plant equipment such as 3-Phase induction motors, starters, control panels, current transformers, potential transformers, lighting, charger, battery etc.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Currently spearheading efforts with VALUTHUR GAS TURBINE POWER STATION (95mw combined cycle plant) as Field Engineer.

2.Responsible For Operation and Maintenance of Gas turbine, Steam turbine, HRSG, ACC, ACHE and accessories.

3.Maintaining the equipment such as boilers, pumps, cooling towers, gas and steam turbine generator for their smooth operation.

4.Regulating dampers, water level in boilers and fuel supply. Checking steam gauge and water gauge to see that sufficient steam pressure is generated, maintaining proper temperature of condensing water.

5.Ensuring all stand by pumps are always in good and warm up condition.

6.Checking the components for any leakages, malfunctioning, defects, damages etc. Ensuring timely repairs of the deficiencies.

7.Monitoring and recording the plant performance.

8.Trouble shooting the problem that arises in DCS.

9.Calculating the Export and Import Of power daily in Accordance with Company Procedures and Instructions.

10.Maintaining all Records/Reports and the timely preparation of same in accordance with requirement.
