Credit Control-: Analyses and developing credit assessment and appraisals, Collection of market report and assigning of Credit Limit and periodic review. Assessing new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit ratings. Setting up of terms and conditions of credit policies for cutomers.Ensuring timely debt collection.Following up payments as needed and lead team for payments.
Accounts Receivable Management-: Leading, assisting and monitoring collection team to achieve the assigned collection targets for four companies under the group. Direct Involvement in Key accounts to ascertain timely collection, to keep the DSO maintained and reduce ageing debt. Weekly review with collection team/ Sales team to avoid any gap in collection plan. Regular meetings to top accounts personals on monthly basis in order to maintain strong relationship and to get actual status of their business to review their assigned credit limits.
Letter of Credit-: Dealing in 25-30 running export LCs starting from checking the applications, entry in system post receiving original LCs from bank, preparation and submission of LC documents to customers for signature/acceptance, follow up, covering the outstanding post receiving the documents, preparing and forwarding covering letters to bank for negotiation. Updating of regular amendments in revolving LCs. Circulation of available LC position to concern operations team and management fortnightly.
Banking-: Handling PDCs/CDCc/Bank Guarantees collected by Collection/operations team. Ensuring timely depositing of cheques to the concerned bank accounts company wise, conversion of cheques clearing to bank receipts. To report any cheque bounce to the concerned operations team and management. Bank reconciliation of all bank accounts on monthly basis.
Cash Management-: Handling of cash received from customers/ warehouse/ factories. Booking Of intercompany cash expenses vouchers, disbursement of petty cash amount to employees/warehouse/factories against daily expenses, issuing advance and making payments towards imprest accounts against audited vouchers, Settlement of advances, updating of branch payroll and cash ledger.
Legal Related-: Responsible for initiating legal case against default customers post approval by management. Process consist of arranging required documents case wise, obtaining quotations from lawyers, arranging files for translation, documents submission to lawyer office, showing the location to court personal, follow up for the legal documents, maintain detail of hearings and attachments.

Updating customer dockets, correspondence, update of trade licenses and other credit related documents.
