Detailed Job Descriptions(Elevator/escalator)

1) Elevator construction/assembly

1) Observation of site readiness and equipment delivery 1) Determination of installation method (Winged or scaffold type) 1) Determination of travel routes and all safety procedures for installation process 1) With the power supply to the shaft secured and isolated then installation of hoisting equip 1) Depending on the type of installation method used, setting of the template and secure it 1) Then the first round of guide rails, gouging and platform then the rest of the rails. 1) Then the installation of safety driving (hoisting), governor, motor etc. 1) Then the rest of the mechanical installation phase takes place, doors, counterweight etc. 1) Completion of car building and final roping of machine (depending on type of method employed for installation).

1) Shaft electrification, car electrification, hall electrification and signalization of installation. 1) Adjustments where necessary.

2) Elevator service Fault finding and other maintenance 1) Basic & routine maintenance of all elevator & escalator equipment. 1) Preventative maintenance of all elevators & escalators 1) Fault finding to all elevator & escalator equipment (electrical/electronic & mechanical) 3) Elevator repairs & Modernizations

1) Performing repairs and replacement to all major & minor equipment to elevators and escalators. 1) From Motors, Re-roping, Fixing of damaged doors, repairs to all safety equipment, rewiring individual components, wiring of additional equipment etc. 1) Re-wiring whole machines in case of modernization of equipment. 1) Rigging, fitting, welding (steel work) on repairs & modernization of equipment.
