I was the Senior Manager and execution-based leader for the assembly, maintenance, and overhaul of all forms of surface and downhole equipment relating to the oil field wireline industry. This involved all forms of electronics, software, and mechanical assemblies. Full accountability for Production, Planning, Scheduling, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Order Management, Safety, HR, Warehouse, and Logistics. I was responsible for the training and development of engineers, technicians, buyer/planners, supply chain, logistics, quality, and safety personnel. This included electronic and mechanical equipment/assemblies. All metrics and status were reported to leadership on a weekly performance update, or when requested. Using lean principles and Six Sigma for efficiency, configured shops for floor flows and plans, then was the project manager to implement and monitor the new layouts. Developed KPI’s and metrics for both manufacturing production and maintenance, and reported timelines and performance to leadership. I was a bench technician / engineering technician / Field Service Specialist for all different forms of Cased Hole Wireline operations. I tested, installed, and worked on many versions of Warrior Systems, CASE Systems, FOCUS systems, and ECLIPS Systems. I worked with the SAP Teams when Baker Hughes began setting up the different systems for maintenance, RA Tracking, and inventory systems.

I worked extensively with third party vendors to help develop, test, and provide technical feedback as to the viability of the equipment to be used by the company, and then proceeded to work with procurement and asset management to purchase. Such equipment as the 1426XA, and 1427XA Radial Bond Tools from PROBE Technologies, Computer Sonic Systems and others. Other projects including full production tool strings from LEE Specialties. I assisted operations with the training and use of the equipment.

Worked with internal engineering and manufacturing in the development, testing, and implementation of new technologies for Cased Hole Wireline. Tested all new and refurbished wireline trucks being put into service. Worked on all single and 3-phase systems, including switch gear and controls. Performed PLC work on Facility controls, for automation and process. Installed, setup, and tested Keithley Metrabyte systems including remote communications for well monitoring and fluid analysis systems.
