12 November 2011 – 29 June 2014 : This was a Full Time Job .

Led a team of 5 Technicians on the TRACK MACHINE ( PLASSER THEUR P0009C) which had derailed . We had to rebuild the DEUTZ engine, refurbish the machine in less than a month as the machine was wanted back on track. Diagnose malfunctioning machinery from electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Carrying out scheduled maintenance of Locomotives and achieved 100% compliance.

Phasing & calibration of Locomotive injectors injectors and obtained 90% injector availability as required by the stores department.

Managed to change components on Locomotives such as exhausters,valves,compressors,turbochargers and ensured machine downtime was reduced.
