Proficient in the use of precision measuring equipment. Calipers, micrometers, Height gage, dial indicator, bore gages pin gages, protractors, rivet gages, hardness, and conductivity. Can make own catia drawings and verify measurements using catia. Can operate and edit CMM programs and create setups and print outs for dimensional match to 3D model. I’m familiar with LK, and Brown & Sharp CMM’s. Verisurf, Camio and PCdimis software. Also I am proficient with Faro arms. Have had two classes on GD&T training.

Kearney Trekker and Cincinnati magnum, maxim machines. Numerous lathes CNC and manual machines. Also learned some welding while there. 3rd shift lead responsible for job assignments and forklifting work to each cell.
Quality inspector inspecting vendor supplies parts including hydraulic lines, wire harnesses and completed machined parts. IS0 9001 accredited company. Responsible for internal audits and OSHA safety compliant officer. Verified weld tooling for first unit run with 12’ faro arm and laptop. Verified weldments and weld inspection. Operated brown & sharp CMM. Inspected finished units and operated every control to ensure proper function. Collection and disposition of discrepant material into MRB system.

Many different companies and all Aircraft related. Mainly FAI’s for new contracts won. Famaliar with netinspect, and submitting completed FAI’s to different customers. Cessna, Boeing, Bombardier, Lockheed, and Northrop Grumman, Airbus. These were all machine shop part inspection, verify material, measure each to engineering documents, verify processing and final inspection.

Receiving inspection of sheet metal parts and assemblies and hardware for Cessna CJ-4 fuselage and tail cone. Clean room inspector for composite layup clean room. Verified ply layup and material out times and thaw. Test panels, and autoclave reports for each layup. 787 flight deck floor and many other small parts including radomes for military use. Some acrylic inspection for Cessna windows for aft cabin.

Keel beam inspection. Responsible for all parts and assemblies for keel beam assembly project. This was high pressure and a lot of overtime involved. FAI took two months to finish. Very fast paced company and took on a lot of responsibility. Verified all rivets and hi-loks, sealant installation and verified all expiration dates. Tracked and documented all discrepant materiels and documented all in MRB system. Operated LK CMM with Camio software for all first articles, AS9100 auditer and compliance officer. Also spent time in machine shop doing first part buys and instructing operators how to shift their parts to bring them into tolerance. Thread inspection for tight tolerance bolts using thread mics and wires to inspect. Outside processing and final inspection.

Responsible for inspecting tooling to customer requirements using Romer Arm, Faro Arm and Romer Laser Tracker. Using 3D models and engineering blueprints to confirm tooling accuracy to customer requirements. Inspection of all details and assemblies. Creation of Datums for customer tooling and tool balls and locations. Verifying all incoming materials to customer requirements. Inspection of welds and all structural rquirements including hoist rings and straps to weight requirements. Packing requirements and PO instructions. Creating geometry for inspection requirements for Laser Tracker. Complex contours and reverse mold layup as well as master mold inspection.
