I am currently working as a Security Officer, stationed on-location at the Coca-Cola Alico Road Plant in Fort Myers, FL. Prior to the onset of the COVID pandemic, my most recent position was also as a Security Officer at Securitas Security Services.

I am an experienced Supervisor and Personnel Manager. I previously worked for the State of Florida as its Maintenance Mechanic and Supervisor. My wife and I owned and operated our own 180-acre farm simultaneously; where it was my responsibility to supervise and manage 15-20 employees. Unfortunately, we lost both the farm and our business during Hurricane Irma in September 2017. In April 2018, my position at the Department of Agriculture was eliminated because of budget cutbacks due to the economic impact caused by the hurricane.

I applied for the first employment that I could obtain to support my family and have stayed in that position so that I had no gaps in employment and because my current employer made offers of growth and advancement. With those offers unfulfilled and the further hardship on my family caused by the impact of COVID-19, I am now a single father and seeking a position that will allow me to better provide economic and personal security for my children. It is my hope to join an organization that will understand and see this in a positive light.

I am a high school graduate and served honorably as a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps; where I deployed during Desert Storm and obtained a Good Conduct Medal.
