PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

CITGO Petroleum Corporation, Houston, Texas – December 2004 – October 2016

Contract Coordinator

My responsibilities working with the Mid-Office Group in the Product Supply Department included daily contract verification, inconsistency report, volume inconsistency report, trader meeting presentation, weekly estimated pricing report, and month-to-date inconsistency report. My experience in Accounts Payables comes from working with Broker invoices, verifying the transactions, coding the invoices for payment, obtaining approval from the Traders, scanning the document into our payment system, submitting the invoice for payment, and following up on the payment of the invoices. I acted as backup on contract deal-capture. My in-depth knowledge and use of SAP, Excel, and formulas came from working with this software on a daily basis.

Contract Administrator

All trades entered into the CITGO trade capture system by the crude/feedstock traders were reviewed by me, and I also checked all entries for correctness prior to entry into SAP. From these entries, I created, reviewed and distributed contracts for all CITGO Feedstock acquisitions including domestic, foreign and PDV Midwest Refining, Canadian crude plus CITGO Feedstock activities. This process required the review and negotiation of General Terms and Conditions to ensure agreements between CITGO and their trading partner, and I applied Net-Out Agreements and Marine Trade Agreements with vendors including amendments. Contract reviews with traders, Credit, Legal, and Marine Transportation Groups were coordinated by me, as well. On occasion, I also assisted the Senior Contract Analyst with PDVSA contract administration, escalator calculations and reports. I ensured all deadlines were met and all work was accurate.

Marine Transportation and Logistics Coordinator

While I worked in this capacity, I learned the process to find nomination numbers, and manually created and entered payable claims into the database. Also, I electronically filed payable claims, reserved funds for wire transfers with the Treasury Department, scanned and electronically sent receivables. My in-depth knowledge and use of SAP Demurrage Marine Schedule Log was achieved from daily work with this software. I also archived and requested files using the TRIM system.

Senior Administrative Assistant

As the Senior Administrative Assistant, I worked directly on the trading floor and prepared the monthly buy/sell report, weekly aviation pricing report, and STOC inventory report. My daily responsibilities included contract verification, preparing the inconsistency report, trader's position report, trader meeting presentation, and the closing price report. I served as backup on deal capture and contract text entry. One of my major achievements was to write the work plan and manage our department's summer intern.

Department Assistant III

Serving as an Assistant in the Legal Department, I supported four attorneys and two paralegals. While I managed filing, calendars, mail, phones, prepared reports, responded to correspondence, coordinated meetings, provided graphic presentations, made travel arrangements, and prepared expense reports. I also monitored and prepared the budget for the Legal Department.

Administrative Assistant - This Administrative position required confidentiality, initiative, and sound judgment for a manager and a team of principals. One of my functions was to prepare and assist in creating presentations, spreadsheets, and material for meetings. I also managed the Vice President's calendar, and dealt with internal and external clients. I coordinated travel arrangements, prepared and submitted expense reports, reviewed incoming correspondence, and prepared responses. I gathered and analyzed data to complete independent assignments and organized and maintained confidential financial files. My daily duties included preparing and maintaining weekly reports and general files as well as answering telephones and scheduling appointments.

Executive Secretary II

As Executive Secretary to the Assistant General Counsel - International and two Lead Legal Assistants, I provided services in the litigation area and back-up for other areas of the Legal Department. I have typed from rough copy and dictation which included correspondence, letter agreements, contracts, resolutions, and other documents as needed to form international subsidiaries. Further responsibilities included setting up case numbers in the accounting AS400 system for the accumulation of legal expenses, as well as coding invoices for payment. I established and maintained legal files for the Litigation Group using the Microsoft Access database, prepared expense reports, arranged meetings at in-house and off-site locations, procured air, hotel, and car reservations for domestic and international travel. Prior to working in the Legal Department, I served as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer for nine years.
