Responsibilities

Involved in post contract works

Review and study of complete Contract documents, such as Specification, Conditions of Contract, bill of quantities to determine scope of work

Leading a team comprising of senior QS, Assistant to prepare interim payment application for Development of Muscat International Airport project, Oman.

Ensure that those only approved suppliers and subcontractors are utilized on a project.

Preparation of overall cash flow projection based on the construction program.

Preparation of monthly interim payment application for the works executed at site, materials on site, free issue materials to other contractors and progress of work done related to claims and variations.

Preparation of work progress records for all MEP discipline as part of interim payment application.

Arranging site inspection for Engineer to assess the progress applied in interim payment application and assisting to obtain the certification.

Participating in a meeting with Engineer to clarify the queries related to interim payment application.

Preparation and comparison of cash flow for the project based on initial completion schedule and actual executed every month.

Preparation of monthly financial and backlog reports for management review.

Monitor/Carryout Material Reconciliation and Material Procuring

Dealing with the nominated subcontractors & their invoice certification and assessment.

Preparation of claim strategies for various items in terms of measurement / pro-rata / Lump sum principles

Identifying the claims and variations with respect to the changes occurred in the scope of contract either by the Engineer’s instruction or notification by the contractor.

Preparation of budget cost proposal and interim cost proposal for various claims and variations

Co-ordinate with design team for supporting cost proposal submission

Preparation of value engineering works for the scope specified in the contract

Substantiation of cost proposal to the Engineer during consultation meeting and assisting to obtain the determination.
